Privacy Policy
Effective June 30, 2026
Bloodline Ranks is operated by an individual operator based in Colorado, United States. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. Questions or requests: [email protected].
- Discord account data. When you sign in with Discord we receive your Discord user ID, username, global display name, email address, and avatar/banner images. We never see your Discord password.
- Profile you set. Your chosen username, display name, and any avatar or banner you upload.
- Match reports. Screenshots you upload to report results, and the values our system reads from them (kills, bounty, your in-game name, and similar match stats).
- Technical data. Your IP address and browser user-agent, stored with each login session, and basic server logs.
We process this data to provide the service you signed up for (performance of a contract): authenticating you, running tournaments, verifying submissions, and publishing standings. We also rely on our legitimate interests in keeping leaderboards accurate, preventing cheating and abuse, and securing the platform. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
We rely on a small number of third parties to run Bloodline Ranks:
- Discord — Authentication (OAuth sign-in) and the profile fields it returns. Privacy policy.
- Cloudflare — Object storage (R2) and CDN delivery of uploaded images and screenshots. Privacy policy.
- Railway — Application hosting, PostgreSQL database, Redis, and background processing. Privacy policy.
Cloudflare and Railway act as our service providers (processors), handling data only on our instructions. Discord acts as an independent controller for the sign-in itself: when you log in, your use of Discord is also governed by Discord's own privacy policy.
Your public profile, team, and standings are visible to anyone who visits the site. We may disclose data if required by law.
Bloodline Ranks is hosted in the United States. If you access it from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, your data is transferred to the US and processed under the safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) offered by the providers listed above.
- Account & profile are kept while your account is active.
- Login sessions (including IP and user-agent) are short-lived and removed when they expire or when you sign out.
- Match results are retained for the integrity of historical standings. When you delete your account we anonymize your records, delete your uploaded screenshots, and remove your in-game name from them, while keeping the numeric scores so past tournament results stay accurate.
Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR) you can access, correct, export, or delete your data, and object to certain processing. You can exercise most of these yourself:
- Access & export. Download everything we hold about you from Settings → Account → Export my data.
- Correction. Edit your username, display name, avatar, and banner in Settings.
- Deletion. Permanently delete your account from Settings → Danger zone.
For anything else, email [email protected] and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
We use a single, strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies, so no cookie consent banner is required.
Bloodline Ranks is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from people under that age; if you believe a minor has given us data, contact us and we will remove it.
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page.
